67? You'd better read this:

The hood is basically the same 1967/72 F100/750. The original 1967 hood (C7TZ-16612-A) had slightly different cross bracing, and that's it.

Ford replaced C7TZ-16138-A with the 1968 hood C8TZ-16138-A. Then in 1970, replaced C8TZ-16612-A with D0TZ-16612-A = thus: 1967/72 F100/750. If you're a purist, you'd want to retain the original 1967 hood.

1967: You push the inside handles forward to lock the doors from the inside. 1968/72's have door lock knobs.

1967 only: Door shells, window regulators, door lock remote controls, door latches and link rods, inside window and door handles, vent frames & handles, armrests.

Firewall, dash panel, radio & heater, instrument cluster back, brake & clutch pedals, bracket they suspend from. Master cylinders, P/B boosters, proportioning valves, low brake fluid warning lamp switch.

Hood side emblems, painted steel and anodized aluminum grilles. Ignition switch: C5AZ-11572-B same as: 1965/67 Galaxie/LTD/Thunderbird / 1966/67 Fairlane/Falcon / 1967 Mustang/Cougar.

Same 1967/72 door parts: R/L upper/lower hinges, outside door handles, door lock cylinders, door and glass weatherstriping, window & vent glass, division bars.

C3UZ-18495-A .. Heater Water Valve-Splices into inlet to heater core heater hose: 1965/72 F100/1100, 1963/67 E100.

1967, 1968 before serial number C56,001: The upper side mouldings are 1 1/4" wide // 1968 from serial number C56,001, 1969, 1970/72 Sport Custom: The upper side mouldings are 1 1/2" wide.

There are two different inside mirrors. 1967 before serial number A70,001: C5ZZ-17700-C .. Chrome (same as 1965/66 Mustang).

1967 from serial number A70,001, 1968/69: C7OZ-17700-C .. Day/Night-Black vinyl, paint to match (same 1967 Fairlane/Falcon).

So it wouldnt start up today. Tried but just wouldnt. Tried to jump it and arced. Dang person had the red wire on the neg and black on the positive.

Got my nerves back and looked at the battery and not the wires. Still didnt fire up.
Guess i could get bigger jumper cables?!
Do i need a new alternator most likely?
Starter seems.fine.imo but deff just a begginer perspective.

How did it get to your place with the battery cables swapped? Btw, what is it doing when the start sequence is initiated? Be specific... Nothing? Crank but does not light off? Starts but does not run?

I suggest ya STOP what you are doing and visually check the wiring given that a dunderhead swapped the cables. Who knows else they screwed up. After that, switch the ignition on and check for voltage at the "I" terminal on the starter solenoid.

Sounds like cranks but does not lite.. do, this.. take about a 1/4 cup of fuel and pour into the carburetor... wait two minutes...... Attempt to start... what does it do?

Remember.... ignition needs three things... air, fuel, and spark. Verify all three. You just bought this rig, right? Change the fuel filter and blow out the line from the tank to the fuel pump.

When i bought it. I drove it to the gas station and put $10 in it. Each day after for 2 day i drove it around the block.
1 day not driving it and now it is cranking and clicking but i think the battery is dead. Wouldnt fire. Gonna run and get a small gas tank and some 87oct.

I can do those things to the fuel line and tank...2 barrel.carb looks like and i think i have an electronic choke. Plugs and wires.all.look new. As does the distributer cap and some.lil black thing. (Electronic.choke?)

You mean someone tried to jump start it with the cables reversed? Ya might have fried the fusible links... IIRC there are two... connected to the starter solenoid.
