New guy in N.J.

Post by galaxastang »

Hey guys,
New guy from Jersey. Been lurking and learning, figure time I registered. Ford man all my life, currently own 2 67 Galaxies, 65-66 Mustangs and 2 Ford trucks 90 F250 4x4 supercab and my favorite 70 F100 Ranger XLT stroked 390 - built C6 - 9" 3:26 gears. Very fun to drive!
Wondering what it might be worth, which forum do I use to ask? I know a lot of other forums are particular about using the correct forum page.
Thanks, Wally

:wel: from Pennsylvania!
That is a question that I would ask in the "General Discussion" forum. Don't forget to include as many details and pictures as you can. In order to post pictures here, they have to be sized down, so a lot of guys usually just attach a link to pictures that are in another location, such as photobucket.
Also, if the '70 is your favorite, why are you interested in how much it's worth?!

Thanks guys

hdman90,
I tried to post pics, but I'm computer illiterate. Will try and get them to a photo link. As for worth, just curious, like a lot of guys I've wanted a short bed, but always missed out on whatever came up for sale. I'm looking to do what a bunch of other guys have done and shorten the frame and bed, while looking into what it would take to do, I found this site. Always thought it would be easier to swap pieces and parts and reading here just proved that. So, I guess I was just thinking it would ruin value if I went through with it. That being said , I will never get rid of it, so I am moving forward. Could never seal the deal on a short bed, but have since found a couple frames and beds. It does have factory option tool box behind seat and gas tank located inside the frame rail. Thinking of selling some things to fund transformation. Wow, It only took me a half hour to type this, new record! Anyway, that's the long short of it.
Thanks, Wally
