1967 F-100 Arizona truck...

Post by jjsamc »

Hello...
Here's my '67 that I have had for about 12 years. Did quite a bit of work to it way back then, but had to practically forget about it due to other priorities and unexpected things that come up in life.
It had a dying 352 engine with MX (i think) transmission when I bought it. I had a 390 and a C6 built locally and had that put in. Along with Edelbrock 600cfm carb, intake, and hooker headers. A paint job in the original color cleaned it up great. The rest of the work it needed I was able to do myself. This was more than 10 years ago and I came close to selling her a few times!
I'm excited to get back to this project again finally. I put some fresh fuel and oil and got it running pretty good over the last week. There's stuff that needs fixed/improved, so looking forward to all your info on this site...

Thanks everyone from everywhere for warm welcome. Drove it around yesterday running errands and visiting some friends, and they wanted to ride in it.
Looking forward to gradually taking care of the things I'm noticing. The list is growing haha...
-Fuel gauge no work
-some exhaust leaks at couple muffler and collector welds
-speedometer about 10mph too fast
-tailgate rattles
-AC needs charge
-Two tires have a small leak
-Door seal falling off
-Need to add some seatbealts
-Also want to check timing and carburetor adjustments
-Some window tint would be good

:wel: from Oregon. I was reading your post and noticed a few differences from your project/growing list and mine... For starters, nobody in my town wants to be seen caught dead in mine...

In other words, beautiful truck sir. Enjoy it as much as you can.
