Been gone awhile

Post by 69F110 »

I joined in 2004 when Keith started the site...was active for a few years. Been away for 5 years and am now back. In 2012, I gave my 1969 F100 to a friend as I was leaving Louisiana and moving back to Florida...my home state. I had no intention or plan of returning to Louisiana, but as things go, I am back. Two months after returning, he visits the church I am pastoring and says- "I got this old Ford sitting by my shop." I asked him how it was and if he was able to use it. He said, no, I have been keeping it for you. I will bring it to you.

A few months later and he pulls in the yard with it. I was blessed to have it in 2007 and doubly blessed to have it back in 2017. It has been literally just sitting since 2012 and shows the effects of South-Central Louisiana weather.

Here is a snapshot of it fresh off the trailer...
