Hello from Nor Cal

Post by shorty73 »

Hello from California, land of the crazy politicians and high taxes. I bought a 1968 F250 360/automatic about 2 months ago to clean up and drive around town. Unfortunately, it's been giving me more mechanical problems than I bargained for. Between searching for info in old posts and getting info from my posts, I hope I can get it back on the road before too long. I'd definitely be sunk without a website like this.

Welcome! These old trucks do seem to plague ya with issues the first few months. It's part of driving a 50 year old vehicle. A little here, and a little there. Eventually the kinks will be worked out! They are a pleasure when they get to that stage, and you can just drive!

Good-luck! Post here often, lots of good information available and knowledgeable allies!

:wel: from the Bay Area! Yeah, these old trucks can do that to you. But fortunately they are pretty easy to work on. I'm sure you will find all the answers to the questions you have here. :fr:
