'70 Ranger, cab, doors, trim parts - SE WI

Post by motzingg »

Basically trying to clear out the last of my parts truck before winter so i can get my garage back.

The cab is going to get cut up and scrapped so if you need a rust repair panel, i'm willing to cut them out and ship them just to see it go to good use.

It was a rust free california truck before it came to wisconsin and got the bottom rusted out. Drip rail, roof, window channels are all in great shape, cab supports, floor and rockers are challenged but still some good metal in there.

Seat is garbage, thats free, hood is a bit banged up, also free. Wont bother shipping that junk unless you want to pay me for my time.

I'm trying to make some of my money back on the chrome trim, windshield trim and drip rails are both in great shape, i'd like $100 shipped a set for them (or OBO). Drip rails are 9/10 (doubt you would find nicer) the windsheild frame is probably 8/10, nicer than one listed on ebay for 180.

Instrument cluster also comes with the two dash 'woodgrain' trim panels, and theres a plastic panel under the passenger side... I dunno what a fair price is on this, make an offer, maybe $50?

I've got a brake pedal box, 30 shipped is about what its going to cost to ship.

Doors, i need the guts out of them, cards are in bad shape, but if you need anythign let me know. Only rusty along the bottom edge.

I'll post pictures in the following posts

Window trim- $100 shipped- i can get some better pictures if you need them, two very small dents behind the passenger wiper blade but otherwise extremely good condition. It was removed by cutting away the window gasket so its not tweaked or warped at all.

Drip rails- the only imperfection is in the bend above the passenger door at the back, its almost on the inside surface so you can barely see it. A few small marks on the inside clipping edge from using a beer bottle opener to gently pry it off. They are very hard to see in the pictures.

Instrument cluster- dash trim pieces that match the wood grain thrown in for free- not sure how much to ask for this, its not in the greatest shape but the lens is clear and i'm pretty sure everything works, can't guarantee by any means. I'd be happy with 50 bucks plus shipping but whatever.

Oh yeah those corner marker lights in the upper picture there are available, i gotta get photos of the grille as well.

More junk, crappy seat- free you pick up i'm not messing with shiping unless you really want it, and a brake pedal box from an automatic, probably cost $30 to ship.

Where are you located?

The truck I am going to be rebuilding has some serious rocker panel rot as well as where the kick vents are on both the passenger side and driver side.

Thanks

SE- Southeast
WI- Wisconsin

I can take some pictures of those areas in this truck- they aren't real good, but there might be some metal you can use.

motzingg, I know this is an old post but I'm still looking for a seat, drip rail and wind shield trim. Would you still have any of the items?
Thanks
