Under hood harnesses 1970 f250

Post by 1968f250429 »

Hello all, I'm in need of a Lh under hood harnesses for a 1970 F-250. If anyone out there happens to have one in good shape please shoot me a message here and let me know what you have and a price.

This is the harness that plugs into the main dash harness that supplies power to the rear body and headlamps. Thanks in advance. I'll see if I can get a picture of the plugs on the main harnesses to put with the post.

You'll probably never find this part, (other than a cheap LMC repop made from japan wire). Most folks on here will go ahead and upgrade the wiring by adding two additional relays / improved ceramic light bulb sockets / copper stranded #14 gauge wiring. There several different threads that walk you through how to add the relays, (then you can safely run halogen bulbs which pull a much higher amperage than the original stock bulbs that came in the truck) without your light giving you the never famous "death flashing" at 65 MPH.
Here's my truck build where I put the relays in my truck, (do-it yourself versus buying an aftermarket kit-or a "billybob" kit from someone out to rob you and you'll know it's done right).

I have a cab harness from a 68 f250 that might have what you are looking for. Send me a pm with your number and I will send you a pic of the harness so you can see it.

Why is it that the trucks are always the best running vehicles in the family?
