Homemade drop light

Post by jamesingarage »

I came up with this idea a couple years ago when i had a 4ft fluorescent light left over from my garage build, the wheels came off a old microwave cart that was going to the dump, just use self tapping screws to attach, wire in a 25' cord and you have alot of light under your truck.
JUST MAKE SURE YOU COVER THE BULBS !!

Looks pretty useful.

Seriously, the best truck I've ever owned, without exception.

Made one a few years back. They do really work nice. I've also hung it to the side of my tool cart for the times when I need to light up the side of the truck.
Oh and you are right make sure to cover the bulbs. Broke a few before I figured that part out.
