I was wondering what kind of shorty headers you used? How was the fit? I have a 302 I'm trying to decide which shorty headers to use.

Starting to get it put back together. Gt40 3 bar head swap done along with bolting down my 1.72 roller rockers and edelbrock performer 5.0 lower, 24# injectors and explorer fuel rail. The upper has a 70mm tb.

I modified a stock fox body 5.0 throttle cable bracket to work with my lokar tv cable and bought a universal lokar throttle cable to match the tv cable. Im either going to use a lokar pedal or a modified stock pedal I made.
Have to finish hiding and routing my wires for the MSD digital 6al box and efi harness.

Wow, that's a pretty motor buddy! Love the blue lower, what color are you doing on the upper?

The upper is a bright silver like it was new from Edlebrock.

Still waiting on my plenum spacer to come in. The valve covers I'm running are a little taller than stock and my throttle cable bracket touches the passenger cover. I should have the fast efi covered in powerbraid tomorrow. Still need a adjustable fuel pressure regulator since my rails use a 94 and up style mustang (2 bolt) regulator and all I have is a fix style (3 bolt)

I got a 2 bolt adjustable reg. from Orielly auto for about $40. Seems like it was an 5.0 Explorer application

Yes the factory one on it was adjustable, but only 30-40 psi. Fast efi system neefs 43 psi.

Sorry. I missed that detail :D
Just curious. Why are you running FAST over the factory setup? I put the factory MAF setup on the 351w in my 66 bronco, and am very happy with it. Sorry for the derail. Just curious

The fast efi is tunable. I have ran factory harness and computers before in efi swaps and they are fine but not as crisp and they don't handle mods as well as the aftermarket does. I keep wanting to put my 393w back in or a 501 lima I have in my shop.
