Why weird? :maybe: You dont see much trucks running with y-blocks there?
Here in Brazil, these trucks came from the factory with this engine (272 cid), mine is a 292... It ends to be a few v8 options here, like the 302, the y-blocks, flatheads, so I choose to go with the y-block. Is very common to see diesel MWM, Perkins, Mercedes engines running on these trucks...
