Well I do "Ramble On" but it's "Nobody's Fault But Mine" but "Hey What Can I Do". I was "Going To California" with my Bump and I was worried about mechanical troubles, but I've had "Good Times Bad Times" with the truck and just knew "In My Time Of Dying" was NOT going to happen on this trip. I had a "Living Loving Maid" waiting for me anyway so I pressed on towards "Celebration Day" because my heart was saying "I Can't Quit You Baby"

i've never managed to get ahold of a shorty ...yet.. who knows, maybe the ol' pig will get a wheelbase reduction one day...
is your truck the red one that was hauling a new box home like a canopy?? that was too funny! ( nice rig by the way)

...no doubt about not wanting the truck down,i know all about that,it just took me 4 years to get mine back on the road again (....life gets in the way sometimes..) ..
... if you ever do want to change the trans,i'm sure there's someone on this site has a shorty with a c4 in it that you could talk in to climbing underneath their truck with a tape and find you some measurements - everyone here seems more than willing to help :fr:

Thats my ol rustbucket! Thanks for the compliment but it aint really that nice. Its actually calypso coral orange! Always gets confused for red! Noone close to get measurement from. Ive tried! But you are right. The people here are very helpful when they can. Anyways, Ill just have to bite the bullet eventually and let it rest long enough to get swapped or rebuild my fixed yoke trans. I didnt get to drive it for 2 years, so making up for lost time! It seems to be making up for lost glitches! So far Ive had several small piddly things happen. It always was very dependable. Its just now getting back to that point again. Now watch. I bragged itll break! You got a nice ol truck. I love my shorty but the longbeds look great with some meaty tires on the rear and the right stance. Yours is not bad looking at all.
