Fordification frozen this morning?

Post by basketcase0302 »

Anyone else having issues with the site this morning? Took me quite awhile to get here and that was after having to log back in and receiving the prompt of "multiple attempts to login failed". :hmm:
Just wondering if the website was frozen this morning.

No problems getting in but have the same problems with "can't search at this time" when I click on "View your posts" or "View active topics". Works after a couple of attempts.

Same here. I can't use the "view you posts" "view active topics" functions or the search bar. Checked using 3 different computers. Either the server is bogging down, or we have a bug.

Is anyone suffering any incongruity in post in a thread vs on the index page:

For instance the index says 5 replies (that would be six total post) last post by XXXX but when you view the thread there are only 3 post?

I have not noticed any loss of continuity in thread post counts or anything like that. I will keep an eye out.

I have noticed that a couple of days ago the little star on the thread icon (on the far left) that denotes I am suscribed to that thread has disappeared. Since then I have tried logging out and back in and also making new post to threads but the star has not come back.

Robert, im having a hell of a time using anything that requires a search, "view your posts" & "view active topics" are two that I use quite often & they've been down 90% the last couple of days.

I get this message: Sorry but you cannot use search at this time. Please try again in a few minutes.

Something is up with the database, I am not sure what it is or if it is related to the search problem...(I suspect that it is)

For the search issue you might try clearing your cache and logging out and back in.

Hopefully Keith will log in and see this (and the one in the moderator/admin area) I think it is something he is going to have to look into...

Ditto to all of the problems above.. I have had all of the same issues related to searches and viewing my posts for the past couple of days.

Not so far, bear with us.

Did you try clearing your internet cache? I have been unable to duplicate it, but that doesn't really mean much.
