The hole is about 12inchX12 and 6 or 7 inches deep where the ball sets.   All ya do is put the plate down over the hole when ya wanna hual rocks or w/e or use the dump bed.  The bed will lock down in place when your not gonna use the dump.  I was looking it all ready the PTO I just need 2 Hydraulic rams.  I work for the Co Road Dep't and thay have me at the dump sence July so i get to see all kinds of set ups for dump beds and there is a few trucks that have the same set up as me.

I didn't catch that before. That's pretty funny. We are a small, but proud group.

What year is that 351M? It took me for ever to get to the bottom of just what it is that I have under the hood of my F100. There is a Foundry marking and date code at the rear of the block deck back near where the oil sending unit is.
