Does anyone know anything about restoring the seal for the right side storage compartment on a 1972 Ford F-250?

Check some of the catalogs, Dennis Carpenter, MAC Auto, etc. You should find something there.

Steele Rubber has a lot of gasket material. I'm sure you'll find something that works.http://www.steelerubber.com/
