RECO? Replacement tire jack for 72 Ranger F250 3/4 ton

Post by chriswooster »

Truck came with no jack. Any suggestions for a replacement beyond what I can find with a a Google search?

Helpfully, one that's well suited to the clearance of our Fords?

This is for a daily driver, not a show truck.

THANKS.

I carry a small (4 ton) bottle jack in my '71 Bronco, '75 Hi-boy, and '08 Jeep Wrangler. Works great under the axle to lift the tire off the ground.

I had a hi-jack / farm jack for my dually mounted along the rear frame rail.
I had a NOS mount from a dent like this one for years that mounts the bottle jack under the engine compartment that works in a pinch.
