Bolts

Post by jf100 »

Does anyone know of a book that has bolt sizes and thread size like fine thread or coarse thread. I bought an engine that was not all together I need to find out what size and how many bolts I need for the timing cover and water pump and oil pain. Thank you for any help.

I've bought 2 of these kits for 2 different engines. They come packaged and labeled for component installation like "intake bolts", "water pump bolts", "timing cover bolts" etc. They were good quality and you can't beat the price. Very complete. The only difficulty was with accessory installation. The kits are provided for a base engine so if, for example, you have power steering and that affects the length of a water pump bolt because of the bracket, you'll only have the bolts required to mount the water pump w/o the power steering, just the short bolt, and have to go to the hardware store for the long bolt. https://alloyboltz.com/automotive-kits/ ... gine-kits/
