Thanks guys. I have the coil 2/3 of the way hooked up now. I am also going to keep my current oil line setup for my c6 to break the motor in. After that I will replace the lines with 5/16 copper line. I can get that for $1.19 a ft. Should be easier to work with and flare.

I would try and reroute the fuel line from the thermostat housing, you may have vapor lock issues. But It looks great!

Motor is filled with 20w50 Valvoline VR1 and the transmission is filled with ATF.

Ill just get a big clean plastic bin and drain the c6 when I find the levers I need.

Going to just put a belt between the water pump and crank pulley so I have a working water pump.

So vroom is imenint.

Good choice in oil, whoever gave you the idea to put that oil in it is brilliant!  Well I'm glad you've gotten this far, you might want to put a big fan in front of the truck to keep it cool if you have one. Once its FULLY broken in (driven a little bit because it needs the load to break in the rings) You should drain the oil and change the filter (maybe put a magnet on the filter until then) tho get the metal out of the oil. It wont have enough to notice or ruin the engine but I do it because its healthy for it. Especially a freshly built engine.

Did you get the "high zinc formula" oil? There are two kinds of VR1 and the high zinc one is good. If not, no big deal, you might want to put a zinc substitute in it though just to be sure. The high zinc one requires no additives hence the high zinc.

Can't wait to hear her purr.

Try a longer hose, it may be going over the fitting like an oval because its being stretched to fit.

Ok here is the video of the 460 break in. I have to give props to RobRoy for helping me out with resizing the video and a few other things.

I tried to not fill the camera with my back side. But now you end up with my dad walking into view with no shirt on. I cant win.
When I shut the motor down about three minutes into the video it is because I saw something leaking a bit under the truck. I freaked thinking it was oil. It was not, it was transmission fluid. I tried to tighten up a clamp a bit, grabbed a drip pan and continued on. I will just buy new lines from NPD and be done with it before I put it on the road.

Two video format options depending on what you have. The first is for the latest greatest up to date computers, the second for everything else.
