thanks and Yup those are are 4" speakers I put in the vent holes. I bought them at a chineese store, they are a cheap knockoff of Sony xplod but they get the job done. I had been looking for that size of speaker for a while and when I came across those I couldn't pass up.

Hey folks,

For those of you who have pulled the dash and decided to leave the bare metal dash exposed....when salvaging the metal vent covers from the old dash, what size/thread of screw is necessary to affix those covers through the pre-drilled holes in the dash's vent openings?

Thanks!

It's looking good but I'd worry that once that truck sits in the sun, those spots are going to shrink like George Costanza's manhood in a cold pool.

That dash is looking good. If my pad gets to cracked up I'm definately going to do it like you are.
