It has a brake booster. There was a leak at the master cylinder front reservoir brake line connection, so another brake bleed will need to be done.

I've been seriously thinking about getting a '94-98 Dodge with a 12V Cummins and manual transmission... might have to look in other states to find the right candidate. I don't want to spend anymore muula on anything, but the body and frame.

Yes, I read your last post and unfortunately will have to wait until Monday after work as I'm away from the '68. I will get the measurement from bottom of frame rail to center of the rear axle tube, for you, no problem.

Friday night, I was hawking over Dodge Cummins using AutoTempest ... and today I just bought for $5200, in about Orlando, a '97 Dodge 2500 Club Cab with turbo diesel, 5-speed manual transmission, hydroboost setup, and with a measly 64,000 miles on the odometer. Nothing has been modified to the engine. Truck is just cosmetically ugly. I will get a picture up tomorrow.

I'm going to read up on the governor spring swap and the KDP (killer dowel pin) fix.

I'm going to remove the grill guard, hood scoop, side steps, windshield visor, and the bed camper. I'll drive it for a few months, save some cash along the way, and collect parts and information on the swap to the '68.

Thanks for the pics but I was looking for the measurement from the rear of the frame rail to where the center of the axle is pretty much take a plum bob hang it from the frame to the center of axle then measure from rear of frame rail to where it meets the plum bob hope this makes sense alittle hard to explain

Driver's side looks to be a more accurate measurement... passenger side had a bracket plate welded to the frame for the rear bumper.

Thank you greatly for taking the time to help me out how many inches would you say it is you got on your measurement to the center of the axle?

36.75", but it could be 37" or somewhere inbetween. I'm using the carriage bolts and the rubber snubber as a guide.

Put the truck on hold. It's sitting in the driveway. The itch is slowly getting back. New house, divorce...
