Glad to see you are still around and that the truck is still working good and proving to be reliable! I wish you and the wife my best with your home purchase. It's great there's a shop on the property. Having a place to work on your projects is the best!

Landed in Portland OR on Wednesday evening from a business trip to Dallas. My younger brother picked me up and we were off to Eastern Oregon, Enterprise area to be exact. Thursday morning we grabbed good ol' Franken Ford and headed for the hills...'we were a looken for Bambi's Ol' Man.' On Saturday my younger brother filled his tag...little spike nothing to brag about but meat in the freezer. After processing the critter i drove from Enterprise OR to Yelm WA, in Franken Ford. I got home really late...or really early on Sunday morning depending on how you look at it.

433 Miles. I calculated fuel mileage twice, the first one which was lots of hills and curves was 19.xx mpg. The second tank was 17.xx which was freeway at 70 ish.

I backed the truck into the shop at the new house because it was raining....here is my new to-do list.

Whistling noise coming from passenger door around wing window
Driver Door not shutting easily
Leak on driver door side
Will not shift into 4low, probably linkage seized.
Second Fuel tank and (Current tank only gives me about 250 mile range)

Future Stuff
Better sound deadening along fire wall.
Dynamic Timing
Turbo improvement

Oh and here are some pictures so the thread isnt worthless. lol

FrankenFords, been sitting at the house a fair amount do to an unreliable starting issue. Finally warrantied the Napa Starter and pulled one battery out and replaced it with two new bigger batteries. Hopefully that will fix the problem. The company i work for decided that we were going to make a no driving and phone talking policy so i may start driving the ol' truck since it wont matter if i can hear the phone or not.

Truck still leaks on the drivers side, which is very frustrating and there are a myriad of other issues but will get to them eventually.

My wife and i bought a new place about 8 months ago. Its about 11 acres with a new construction house that was never finished. So we have had our work cut out for us. FrankenFord is playing his part though by haling water to newly planted trees around the place. 275 gallon tank * 8.34 Lbs per Gal =2293 lbs. He squats a little and funnily enough rides better with the load on. Pulls the load around pretty well to.

Thought this was kind of cool for comparison but now looking at the pictures you really cant tell how much the truck squats under the weight. You can tell in person a lot better then in the pictures.

Been using the truck a little. Not a lot but hopefully more in the coming months and weeks.

Currently working on the horn and door panels.

This was several months ago, picking up a small John Deere MC from a welder who was rebuilding the blade arms for me and taking it from a 4-way to a 6 way. Probably weighs 5K LBS, plus 2.5K lbs Trailer pulled it fine. Little slower than my Dodge but still performed well even with some massive hills to go up and down.
