Take a look at the oil passage that feeds the heads. I have heard that those can be a problem. The fix is to install a tube in the passage, I read that in on of the FE rebuild books. The best thing may be to pick up a 360/390 block and transfer the parts. I will try and find the article that talked about the oil passages. The funny thing is you usually end up with coolant in the oil.

I've been perusing the forums(Including the FE Forums), and I would have to agree with you on the Rocker Feed Passages. I'm quite surprised to find that no one has documented the fix in detail.
As far as buying a 360/390 Block, and use my internals, Most of them have been used up around here, and they want mad money for locked up Junk.
The fix I read about was to use an SBC Pushrod, and in effect Sleeve the passage. The engine Runs great, and holds 32 PSI Hot Idling(60PSI @ Cruise) With a stock Oil Pump, so I don't see any loss in trying to fix it. My thought is to "Glue" and Swage the tube in the passage, with the loctite Green that comes with the Injector cup Kits I buy for the 7.3 DIT Engines.
I'll take all the info I can get!

While I am researching what to do with the engine, I figure it's time to take care of the rust issues. got the Floor Pans, And Cab Corners today. Maybe I'll get some of the holes patched this Weekend!

I think I would closely look at the intake gasket/head area for a possible area of co-mingling of fluids.

When I initially Built the Engine, Every Gasket surface was checked for True with a Straight-Edge, Max. runout of .0015". second set of gaskets took 100 Miles of driving for the symptoms to show, Crank Case oil is Clean & Clear. My Torque Wrench was Calibrated 6/16, so I know the Bolts are clamping good.

Because of the difference in pressure (13 Lb. Cooling System vs. Slight Vacuum of Crank Case), If it were a Gasket blow on the intake, there would be water in the oil, not what I have.

Bed is stripped, Removed from the truck, and the gas tank has been siphoned out. Tomorrow I'll run the engine out of gas, and start the rest of the teardown!
