And all that for nothing. Went out to start it. Had the fan on and a button with a light was on. Swaped to the old battery that was charged. That was worse.
Ill take the new battery in to charge but kinda downer about this one. We will c.

Yeah eventually.im gonna put the truck or get it to my friends and put it on stands and pull the motor for the header bolts. Might as well pull the bed so its easier to work on. I dont wanna fully replace anything if i dont have too. Id like to weld up a bunch of.metal.in the bed so it.looks.frankenstieny. the welds would give.grip to i would think.
Not that the rust and holes dont
Lol
Good.morning have a great end of the weekend everyone! Off to walmart to grab a battery charger.

Yeah I need a picture of the underside of the motor mount or what nut or washer holds it down and as for that box next to your silonoid that's a horn relay you can get one from autozone or order one from any of the places like lmc and dennis carpenter but it would be cheaper through autozone. Thanks for the first pictures though

sorry Charlie. Ill get that this weekend hopefully. Shooting for Friday night and Saturday to work on the truck. Gonna get some 12,000lb jack stands and a new big jack. Hopefully get the tires and hood off. Maybe the bed if I can muster up some muscles for help.

My stuff is all for low pro cars and VWs and such.

Anyone ever heat up header bolts and hit em with something cold to shatter em? That or push em out well they were still hot... I may end up needing new headers after lol.
Thinking ill buy a new alternator harness and voltage reg wiring to eliminate that.
lots of work to still do! luv the build threads everyone keep at it!

Hey bud while your at it is need you to check something else for me I've got a heavy gauge back wire with yellow wire right next to it coming of the voltage regulator/alternator wiring harness can you tell me if that's hooked up to the starter silonoid and on what side front or back so I'll know I'm putting the 390 in my truck and hooking her back up and forgot where that wire went to lol.
