You have no idea when it comes to projects how bad i am...

Here is the rest of the box work up to where i am now.
I have two boxes for donors off two trucks.

Image

Taking them apart i noticed the factory braces were on all the bedsides even with the toolbox hole. Then cut off for the box installation. After that the box acted as the brace. You Ford factory trivia for today.
Image

The Arizona panel got the nod so started trimming and mocking.
Image

To get a good solid mock i cut it a couple of times to get my marking line right as i want a butt joint.
Little scary.
Image

Very scary but happy with the line...

Wow great work manny! You are brave but looks like it'll look great when done! I'd also like a tool box. You should have them on both sides!

It would be one of a kind. You'd have to use the other toolbox to carry a stick so you could keep the ladies away!

So i've been out and i apologize. Here is my status updates which is not overwhealming but i will try to pick up the pace. First off i got some parts that are back available again thankfully!
Image

Image

Been still welding grinding the bed side. Had a slight issue with the bed side box though. APPARENTLY there are different liners 2wd to 4wd.. Seems that way as i whacked into the spring hanger. Guess i may copy HFDCO and go to the 2wd hangers or change it around...
Image

Now gotta make my mind up on rear spring stuff don't wanna cut the box.

What i got for now gonna be at it tomorrow after church! :D

Nice work Manny, I get where you are coming from about the box cutting but that maybe the easiest way to allow for your spring hanger. It doesn't look like you would loose to much from the box.

I've had my mind on a little bit of altitude adjustment like 2 inches or so. Also not a fan of that big old lift block so this hanger deal may be an excuse to get my lift help eliminate the block. Trust me if suspension was done we would be cutting the box and fitting it. As i am still so green on the project and not fully sorted yet that's why i'm thinking of the hangers suspension mod stuff. I'll get this figured out one day..

So you are keeping the closed knuckle axle in the truck? I figured you would swap to one of your High Pinion axles.
