Time to pay the bills here at FORDification

Post by FORDification »

Well folks, it's been almost a year and a half since we had an 'official' fundraiser here at FORDification.com....there's been a few needed account upgrades since then, but I just covered those myself, since they weren't too costly. Plus, there have been a few small donations received since that time that definitely helped out. However, the credit card bill just came in, and I found that another year's worth of site hosting and necessary account upgrades were automatically billed to the card, so now it's time to take care of the big bill. Actually, the credit card statement came in several weeks ago, but I've been just putting this off, since I feel kinda wierd asking for help from you all. :o

However, I decided it certainly doesn't hurt to ask. Therefore, if you feel like you've gotten some good use from the site and would like to help keep this site free of banner ads for another year, I will certainly welcome all contributions. All donations will go directly towards paying the hosting fees, and if there's anything left over, it'll stay in the savings account specifically set up for this, in case any future additional account upgrades (like additional server space or bandwidth allotments) need to be purchased from our website hosts.

All information needed to make a contribution can be found by either clicking the "PayPal Donate" button at the top-right corner of the forum pages, or going to the following link:

http://www.fordification.com/paypal-donations.htm

There's also an address at the bottom of that page for those who don't/won't use PayPal.

I do want to stress that this is not a mandatory thing by any means. If you can help and want to, that would be great. If you're unable to right now, that's fine too....don't worry about it. :)

Thanks everyone....your support is definitely appreciated!

Don’t feel bad about asking, sometimes we need to be reminded that the knowledge, and enjoyment we get from this site is free of pop ups, and costs you money.
I just donated. Problems I solved from advice from this site, saved me hundreds over what I would have paid a mechanic. I have also had problems the mechanic couldn’t get solved, fixed by reading some of the excellent advice given here.
Thanks Keith.

It's no sin to ask for help.
Ask and ye shall recieve.
OK, people! Here's what we're gonna do! I want a line formed down the right side of the hallway. NOW!
You see that bucket down there? When you get to that bucket you will drop in your donation and then move on in an orderly fashion so the next person can donate! Any questions? No? Good! Who's going to going to follow the example set by Good Humor and myself? Let's see that bucket filled!
(Can you tell I did time in the service? )
I donated.

I figure if everyone can swing at least $5.00 we should all be sitting pretty. Just made my donation, Keith you go waaaaaayy beyond what I ever expected when I first came to this site.

THANKS A TON KEITH!!! Both for your truck knowledge, and keeping the site running.

Many thanks to everyone who has selflessly made a donation towards the site expenses so far. We're about halfway there on this...... :D

Keith. Just donated via Paypal. The information and knowledge on the site is well worth what I sent. Keep up the good work. Let us know the status from time to time.
