Here we go again....yet another new forum skin

Well, after experimenting with different skins over the past week or so, I do have a new one added....in addition to the default 'subSilver' and the 'Artemis' that was added last weekend. This one is called 'alexisBlue', and is a viable alternative to the 'subSilver' skin, since it's also light-colored.

If you want to check it out, go into your Profile and scroll down to the 'Board Style' dropdown menu. You can choose 'alexisBlue' from there. Then just hit the 'Submit' button and you're set.

All previous forum mods have been installed with this new skin, so it's everything you're used to....though some of it might be slightly rearranged.

...and just so you all know: this 'alexisBlue' template is likely to become the new forum default in the very near future, though the 'subSilver' template will still be available for those who want to use it.

Let me know what you think. I'm not entirely sold on the header graphic...that will probably be replaced in the near future. But it'll work for now.

Cool . While the latest skin is very professional and easy to read, I think that I'll stay with the Artemis one, at least until there is one available that's to my liking. BTW, does this skin load faster or is it my imagination?

I like alexisblue...while it doesn't look as cool, it is highly functional and easy to use. I'll be sticking with it.

when i logged on in subsilver this morning i noticed the font was hugh about every post and the quick reply was gone. i guess the new skin had something to do with that.

YIKES! Well, yes and no. When I was modifying the new skin last night I accidently edited a subSilver file instead of the alexisblue file. I thought I replaced it with the correct one....obviously not. (I'm still using the alexisblue template so I didn't notice.) I'll fix that right now.

Well, it really shouldn't load that much faster...if any at all AFAIK. All three skins have the same info and add-ons, it's just rearranged a little visually.
