So youre leaning toward it being the damper.
Its hard to imagine the vibration you're talking about out here.
If that doesn't work out go back to thinking tranny?

If I knew how to download a short video, I would film it. The damper is the last thing I know off short of an imbalance with the crank & rod/pistons.
