Help Picking New Fuel Pump

Post by Cal2121 »

I am having a 390 rebuilt and am in the process of purchasing new parts (starter, water pump, etc.). I thought I should put on a new fuel pump as well. When I looked them up on Summit there seems to be quite a difference in cost among those available. Some are in the $25-$35 range and a few are over $100. Can you guys lead me in the right direction? I don't necessarily mind spending more if it is actually worth the money.

Thank you

I bought a new Carter M4008 off eBay for $32 - stock replacement pump since I haven't done anything performance wise to the engine - it was over $50 at our local parts store for the same pump and didn't have to pay shipping or sales tax........ :hd:
