Non-Bump Question: Possible Seized Engine

First, apologies for a non-Bump question (heck, it's not even a truck). I promise to keep it short.

Second, this is a '97 Ford Taurus 3.0L V-6. Long story short, my daughter put a hole in the oil pan, and ran it dry. I think that she seized the engine. If that's what she did, is there a way to un-seize it, or am I SOL?

Yes, overhaul the engine.

Pretty much. Bearings gall and lock up the crank more than a piston to bore issue. We ran dad's 5.0 only long enough to drive it up a trailer (30 second) after the oil pump drive shift twisted off and they were toast. I forget if we fixed that crank or just swapped in another.

Engine is done. Unless there's some really compelling reason to put a new or excellent used engine in that car, I'd toss it and get something else. Probably not worth spending any money to repair/replace it.
