If you can get a socket on the lower thermostat bolt 289/302

If you can only get a wrench on the lower bolt 351W

Guessing 289 or 302. T-stat looks like it is behind front cover.

:yt: and the distributor mounting looks the same height as the front of the intake. On a 351W the block/intake line is about 1" above the distributor mounting boss.
