RECALL

Post by 71Ford »

I had a man tell me he heard that Ford had a recall on fuel tanks that were behind seats.....he said all I had to do is go to Ford dealership and they'd put me in a new one....I asked a Ford mechanic friend of mine and he didn't know.....has anybody heard this before??

I can't imagine after 36 years getting anything..

I wouldn't think so. But it would be nice. I wouldn't mind getting a new free tank.

Not a chance in the world. It is rare enough to have a recall on a 10+ yr. old vehicle let alone a 30+ one.

years ago my dad said there was such a recall. thats why all the trucks around here had the seal cap on the cab where the fuel neck used to be.

No fuel tank recalls I can find-
Found ones for steering boxes, seat belts, and door latches, but that's about it.
