no you got to have then long bed you dont know what youll find. and you may ned to haul it home. as far as parking goes that is easy. its easier than a crew cab with a long bed on it. that is a blank to park.

First off Ford Doctor long time no see(since May?)!

Second LWB all the way that said. I do like the look of all of the configurations for our trucks. Seen about twelve of 'em here in joplin/webb city area.

For the original look,I prefer the longbed styleside...They just look more like a pickup is supposed to,IMO...Although,I think a longbed flareside can look pretty mean...I would love to have the plainest-Jane-6-cylinder-three-on-the-tree-radio-delete-U.S. Forest-Service-shortbed flareside...But for tricking one out-you can't beat a short, wide box....

....Oh,and so's I don't offend nobody,I wouldn't kick a crewcab out of my garage...Or a Good Humor truck....

I've had : '73 Ranger XLT
'70 Ranger
'71 Ranger

Currently driving a '71 Sport Custom. All the above were fully optioned, the current one has a 360 and nothing else. All were long wide, 360c.i. and none ever caused me any grief.

(also owned a 55 Cameo, 1949 GMC, 82 Chev, 90 Chev pickups that were also good. My other daily drivers are a '71 Travelall and a '61 Falcon futura with a '57 Intl. Metro in the works. Why don't I ever have any money?

Have them cut off a foot and a half of that sheet of plywood at the Home Depot and throw it in your short bed stepside. Dont be using it for hauling busted up sheetrock or cords of wood. And you get alot more "nice truck" comments when you're in a shortbed stepside 67-72 F100! jz

What is the point of having a truck if you can't haul anything in it?
Half ton's are cool, I bent the rear axle in my last F100. Put in 2500lb.
and the poor old 9inch was bowed. Lesson learned. It depends on what
you want the truck to do. Some guy's want a shortbed to go fast in, I
know about that. Other guy's want a rig they can carry lots of stuff with.
If you can, have one of each. Or more!

I voted Standard cab LWB Fleetside because thats what I have. But I like any 67-72.
It seems around here (Florida) that the short beds are the most desirable. I understand why, because they look a little sportier. But to me any 67-72 that is being driven and loved is a beautiful thing.

I am going to vote for the standard cab lwb, because that is what we have always had. These trucks are the only lwb trucks I would own though, because they dont seem to look as long as they actually are. We used to occasionally haul gravel and aircraft engines with my dads truck, and I dont see why a swb cant do that. I like all of them though, and I would like to own one of each.

Um... "Standard cab LWB Stepside (Flareside)" ...?

As far as I can find, there was never a long-box step-side ever made. Or at least I have never seen one in person.

Anyhows, I sadly do not have a vehicle, so I cannot vote here.
