That's cool, you just don't see those types of chases on tv anymore.

One of my all-time favorite movie scenes-
Anybody see the truck pulling the white camper trailer?

Cool. I think the Charger regenerated its hubcaps at least three times. :P

That movie is why I bought my car 10 years ago!!

These days movies rely way to much on special effects that just don't look as real as -- well, the real thing!!

It was a '68. I spent almost an hour last night trying to get a screen capture from that, but for some reason it won't work. :hmm: I finally gave up and just did a cheesy shot of the paused frame with the digital camera. Loses a lot of detail though, so I'll keep working on it.

Was reading other sites about this case.

Seems they needed to really re-enforce the Mustang to handle the hills and such, nothing was needed to the Charger.

Also the Charger had a hemi in it. The charger could actually walk away from the stang with a 390.

The older fellow who is driving the charger was the actuall stunt driver for the show.

Also had stated that they went through 3 complete sets of hubcaps during that chase.

Yeah, jumps are hard on unibody cars. Probably why Dukes of Hazard used the same car.
That 'stang outa the box handles way better though.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~
