Yep, it's why my boy and I can sit there and watch Warren Miller's Thrills and Spills and laugh our butts off while my wife says ooooh and walks away shaking her head. It's also why we like football.

women enjoy doing the hurting. thats why they weren't as affected by the actors getting 'bee stung'.
the women were thinking ' I should be in charge of doing that. then we'll see how big the bee can get!'
In life many men take the path of righteousness, some take the path many others follow (G.M. owners, for example), some take a more arduous path, some a simpler path. I, sir, took the PSYCO-PATH!!

The study concluded that men get more enjoyment from other's pain than women do. My reaction was that I already knew that. It's why I like to watch Football and Ultimate Fighting and laugh my @ss off when someone gets pounded hard or knocked cold. It's also why I'll laugh when one of my kids takes a digger off the swingset and my wife thinks I'm cruel. I think the article actually concluded that women can empathize better than men, thus my title.
