Look good and they are a lot safer, you can actually see those.

how did you work that. bulb or did you plumb in several seperate bulbs?

did you need an equalizer? how does the turns work.

Man I like those. We need some info on where they come from and how much.
1969 Ford F-100. 302 4 barrel, C4 auto, 9in 3.50 open rear, headers, power steering, Turq/wht, Under restoration. In other words, in a million pieces!!!

There is no Replacement for Displacment!!!

Did you have to use red bulbs or are white/clear ones ok? I ask this cuase somewhere someone said the bulb had to match the lens or it would look darker than stock.

Yea,the led should be red for a red tail light for maximum light.Check this site out.

so if i use clear i'll not see light? I don't get it. A bulb putting out say 200 lumins that is white(might be soft white or yellow) through a red lens is yes dimmer than through clear but the red lens still lights.

Will my lens still look lit up?

If you use a clear light behind a red lens you will see it and it will light up red.but it will not be as bright as it could with a red bulb.That is the way I gathered from the web site I posted above.

Yes, I'm curious too... I have young kids, and my '67 will be a daily driver, so I'd like it to be as safe as possible. Those old tail lights aren't very bright, but these would be sweet...
