Lug Threading?

Post by colnago »

All,

Are all wheel lugs (and lug nuts) for our trucks, regardless of year, the same threading? Is it the same for F100 vs F250 vs F350? I'm looking at converting to front disc brakes, and am wondering if the lug nuts from my drums will thread onto the disc lugs.

I recall some F-trucks were reverse-threaded.. clockwise to loosen.

The lug studs on my F350 are quite a bit larger in diameter than a half ton. They are also a mix of left and right hand threads, There are also a couple of hex sizes that can be used on the F350,
