Drop beam ?

Post by 67shorty »

I have a 67 f 100, I found a set of DJM drop beams for 65-72 but I have changed my original beams to 78 beams with disc brakes. Can I use my disc brakes on these DJM beams?

Thanks, jim

Don't know if there's been any changes in DJM's beams over time, but this is directly from their site.
These King Pin beams drop the front of your F-100 3″. They fit all F-100′s from 1965 to 1979 doesn't matter if you have drum or disc brakes. If you have drum brakes and you want to upgrade to discs (very popular) all you have to do is use the disc brake spindle and king pins with these beams and away you go.
On DJM site and this sites tech library they are listed as being for 65-79 trucks.

DJM used to have two PNs... 66-72 and 73-79. Now they just have one... no issues as far as I know.

I have DJM'S with 78 discs on my 70.
