Bronco power steering box on 4x4 f100?

Post by Gettysburg150 »

Has anyone put a bronco 4x4 power steering box onto a 4x4 f100?

Looking to hopefully purchase a complete kit to convert my 69 to power steering. Thanks

I did the swap into my 4wd 73 F100 for a grand total of $353 a few years ago.

Benchworks sells a complete swap kit.... for a premium!

Do you have a write up on what you used and how you accomplished this?

I read the tech article about modifying a later box to put in. I was hoping to find something that's close to bolt in to try and keep it looking factory

I re-read the tech article and saw that apparently the bronco box does mount in the same location, appears the biggest issue is price.

Also I found where you had commented on someone else's conversion and it appears you both used the 78/79 box with the guts swapped out. I apologize my search skills are pretty lacking.
