67 F-100 Rear Suspension

Post by jgardner14 »

Hello everyone I have a 67 ford f100 sb that has been lowered about 2" and I want to be able to tow but my leaf springs are worn out, if I get in the bed it pretty much bottoms out and I want to replace them and the shocks but still keep my same ride hight. Only thing I tow is a 6x10 trailer with a lawnmower.

Hey man, sorry; bit late to the party here. Doesn't look like you've actually asked a question.
my leaf springs are worn out, if I get in the bed it pretty much bottoms out and I want to replace them and the shocks but still keep my same ride hight.
Based on the above statement, it seems like you should just replace your worn out springs/shocks. Are you worried that doing so will influence your ride height or something?

Maybe custom leaf springs are you best option and then get a new set of shocks.
