wheels for 5 5.5

Post by 70xlt »

I've done complete restoration. I'm looking for 18" wheels or similar, I'm having trouble finding larger rims for the Ford F100 5 5.5 lug pattern. Does anyone know a solution. I prefer not to buy the 2 piece due to the price. I've lowered the truck and wish for large tires all tucked under the fenders.

thanks
LT

They aren’t that common, you’re probably going to have the step up to the plate and pay to play.

American Racing makes or will make on a “custom” basis several options, not all of them very expensive. You want 5x137.5 I’m current mm speak.

:yt: I'm with you Duck! My favorites have always been the old 5 slot aluminum mags or Cragar S/S. Always loved the Keystones too but never thought they suited a truck.

Yep, funny on the cool trucks thread over at ADV how many people put absolutely disgraceful wheels on an otherwise nice ol' truck... take a look at “Project Smokey”, Bullet74 gets it!!! Love the Americans.

I agree Keystones, Crager SS, American, Ansen and Centerlines those are the wheels we all wanted back in the day... (though not all would look good on a truck)...

Anyway.... :D

I can’t believe I am about to say this, but Gas Monkey built a pretty cool truck for Shiner Bock.

I’d have made them put a Ford motor in it, but otherwise I really liked it.

Pretty sure it had artillery wheels from https://detroitsteelwheel.com/products/

Here's a list of factory wheels with 5x5.5 lug pattern. This might help you. -- fordtruckclub.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7127

I was looking at Detroit steels. They don't make wheels under 18" :/
