dual battery setup

Post by Billybobjunky »

Ok guys, I got a couple redtops so I wanna set up a dual system. One dedicated for the starting, and one for my lighting/radio/accessories. Whats the best way to go about this? I'm pretty savvy with electrical so i'm up for a complicated job. Just need some ideas. Thanks!

You need an isolator. You can do this with solenoids or a box you buy.

Here is how isolators work.
