wiring harnesses

Post by layedout72 »

what is the best COMPLETE and easiest harness to install and how much does it cost, and where can I get it. My engine bay is straight up hacked for wiring and I want to just redo the whole truck for a project since its not running or anything right now anyways, while I get my intake and all fixed.

I just finished mine and used a universal 12 circuit harness from painless. It wasn't as painless as I thought it ought to be but it was ok. If you go that route spend the extra and get the one for the Fords. Mine was GM wire colored and a pain to try to get the switches and everything right. Of course mine was all hacked up and couldnt find the right diagrams for it. they run about $300+. Have also heard Ron Francis is good.
