How thick is the aluminum flashing? Any concern of it coming unglued from the mat?
Not sure. It was "regular" aluminum flashing that they sell at home depot. So far it is still on there with the contact cement I used. When I do this with the doors I will use silicon to stick the aluminum to the mat just to cut cost.

Yep! One 24" x 10" below the dent, 2 6" x 10" above the dent spaced evenly across the area.
