what paint to use on I beams and radius arms

 I am doing the disc brake swap since I have everything out I was wanting to clean it all up spray some paint on it I just dont know what kind to use so I am looking for some ideas first off will rattle can paint last and if so what brands? if not what should I use

Parts like that I would paint with POR 15.  You only have to degrease parts prior to painting and the stuff is rock hard.

POR 15 is good stuff for that, I have used a semi gloss black after the POR 15, otherwise the POR 15 will fade to a grey color with time.

I POR-15'd mine and top coated with gloss black.  Came out really nice and hard as nails.
