My Truck In It's Finished State

Post by wheeble »

Here s a link to some images of my truck on Flickr. Just got it back from the painter.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/139400124 ... 3411923782

hope this works and you can see the pics.

Note that the drip rail is gone, just way to much damage to try and save it.

Beautiful truck; I have the same colour combo on my 71 Ranger XLT...really liking the rear roll pan, nice finishing touch. What colour are the seat and dash pad?

Thanks for the comments.

The Dash pad is a taupe/tan color, the seat is a dark green fabric with a center taupe/tan vinyl like the dash.
I did not want to paint the truck with a two stage Base coat/Clear coat. I wanted a more authentic finish as it had when new so it was painted with Nason single stage paints. I did add the painted pin strip down the side for a bit of flair though.

Not rhino liner, it's the rustoleum product (1 gallon $65 @ Wal-Mart).

Love the colors. My 74 F250 (original) is the same, except the dark and light colors are reversed. Where did you get the seat covers? Mine are also green but I can't find any in green. Really nice truck.
