Ranger Emblem

Post by 68rookie »

I just bought a new grill insert to put on my 68 Ranger grill. Bought it from Mac's. I'm starting to think I should of bought the whole piece? Are there supposed to be some tabs there or something to hold the emblem in place?

IIRC ,there's a bezel that holds the insert and bolts to the grille.

Yes, I have that bezel, it's already on the grill, insert has been missing since I bought the truck. Finally got around to buying one to put in it. But I think I probably need a new bezel too, must be some tabs or something missing off of this one, nothing in the bezel to hold insert in place.

Post pictures of what you have. I will walk you through attaching bezel. If it's not do-able I will let you know.

As you can see the bezel is already bolted on the grill. I bought the red insert to put in it but there is nothing to hold it in place that I can see. Was wondering if the bezel that is currently on the truck is missing some tabs or something? If I insert the emblem it just lays down on the bottom and leans towards the back, nothing there to hold it in place. I'm guessing I need a new bezel too.
