Ponding water

Post by ddcrim »

Now that I took the small camper off from my 74 Camper Special, water ponds in the front of the bed when it rains.
I once had a Dodge that had weep holes at the front of the bed. Am I supposed to have drain holes for water? I don't
want to start drilling my bed haphazardly.

I think originally it was supposed to drain through the seams, but over time they plug up with dirt.
A small hole in each corner wouldn't hurt a thing. :2cents:

My '67 has some previous owner holes in the corners, but the front of the bed will drain along the front wall at the corrugations if it's clear of crud and gunk. (Mine wasn't for a few years!)
too many Fords, no where near 'nuff time.

or, money.
