New to the forum! 67 F100 questions

Post by Ducote »

Hi all, I am new to the forum and have a couple questions regarding the late 60s F100. I have a 67 short wide that I need to replace the bed floor on. I was thinking about just cutting the floor out of another ford truck and welding in place of the old rusted out one. My question is what year models will match the bed bolt pattern on my 67?

Thanks! This is going to be an ongoing project for while so I'll have many more questions!

I took the ribbed section out of my bed so i can install a wood bed in it's place. Still working on the bed. Be prepared to cut a zillion spot welds out of the bed floor  I think the bed is the hardest part of the rebuild of truck so far !!

Thanks! What would be the best way to go about cutting those spot welds?
