Replecement Fender

Post by Madman »

Giving carpartswholesale on eBay a try. Their fenders are less expensive than the catalogs, appear to be the same manufacturer, and they don't charge shipping. if it seems like a quality part when I get it I'll let you know.

Sorry, missed one of your posts...it did arrive, it is not as beefy as the originals, feels a touch lighter, but looks good. I have not installed it yet, I did undercoat it....and ankle injury has sidelined me for quite a bit..

Any update on this fender fit? I'm trying to decide on either doing a patch to my original or getting a new one. I'm leaning toward new because it's starting to look like it would be quite a bit cheaper than the fitting and welding work, but not if it doesn't fit right or look decent.

Thanks!
