Adjusting temp gauge

Post by Kurt Combs »

Is it possible to adjust the temp gauge? If so, can someone please tell me how to do this adjustment, my temp registers too low. Thanks.

Is your gas gage reading off also? I just adjusted mine but all of the gages (gas - temp - oil) were off so I'm wondering if its just that gage or all of them - the adjustment that is on the back of the cluster does all of them at the same time. Dont wanna steer you in the wrong direction......

Just went back and found the thread for the adjustment - this is what I used to adjust mine.....

I already adjusted the resistor, but my temp reads really low. Reading some old posts I found that someone mentioned adjusting each gauge individually, which seems like what I need. My gas gauge is a 7/8 when full, oil pressure is high, and temp is really low. So I have something else going on and adjusting a gauge seems like it might work.
