Great score! Let us know what you think of the piece, (fitment, mounting, quality). I've never got to see one but I do know they carry a hefty price tag new.

I am installing a tank at the back of the frame. It's a plastic tank, from an 94 suburban. I moved the crossmembers, and then made straps out of stainless. I'm going to be boxing the frame between the crossmembers. I will have a filler cap grafted into the fender, from a late 70s truck.

After much searching I think I found a tank that kind of fits. It's for a 1984 Nissan 720 4x4. It's not perfect...the fill tube is a little tight but everything else seems to clear the stock 4x4 frame.

Part number: Dorman 576-802 19 gal

The stock Nissan sender is even close 10-80 ohms although I haven't tried it.

Ultimately I ended up returning the tank because I want something that will be totally rustproof.
I thought I'd post my research anyway in case it can help someone. Here it is.......
